How to Get Here
BY CAR
ATTENTION
Our location is in Piazza Salterelli, 1, please when you arrive to the Street “Vacchereccia” in Piazza Signoria, you must take a little street on the right named “Chiasso Degli Armagnati” which end in Piazza Salterelli, our building is in front of your way, there is a big wood door with a big golden knob. Our reception is in the 3th floor, you will see our B&B name “La Torre dei Salterelli" in the door bell. The lift is on the right side when you come in the building.
From
the A1 Highway you have 2 possibilities:
- Take the exit "Firenze Impruneta" At the roundabout, follow signs towards the city centre (taking the Via Senese). You will pass through a little town called Galluzzo, and after about 2.5 Km you’ll see on your right the Pasticceria Fabiani, where you will have to turn to the right (Via del Gelsomino), following directions to Piazzale Michelangelo (this is because the street ahead is reserved for buses and taxis only). Following this street, after about 800 metres you’ll come to a set of traffic lights where you should turn left (down Viale del Poggio Imperiale) following directions to Porta Romana. At the bottom of the hill (after about another 800 metres) you will arrive at a large roundabout "Piazza di Porta Romana”, take the 2nd exit Viale Petrarca and follow the street and at the traffic light after Piazza Tasso (that you’ll find on your right) turn right inViale Ariosto at the traffic light at the end of the street turn right in Borgo San Frediano. Don’t pass under the camera of the ZTL area and turn left in Via Bartolini then you have 2 possibilities that are:

Or if you prefer drive the car to the B&B:
- continue straight and at the traffic light across the Amerigo Vespucci Bridge, on the other side of the bridge at the traffic light turn left in Lungarno Vespucci, follow the street until the traffic light where you’ll turn left in Piazza Goldoni and at the roundabout take the 3rd exit Via della Vigna Nuova, follow the street that becomes Via Strozzi then turn left in Via Brunelleschi, after few meters turn right in Via Pecori then right again in Via Roma that becomes Via Calimala. After about 500 mt turn left in Via Vacchereccia and then take the 1st street on the right Piazza dei Salterelli
BY TRAIN
From S. M. Novella railway station you can choice to take a taxi (about 8-13 Euro) or to take the bus letter “ C2" (about Euro 1.20 per person). The bus stop is “ Orsanmichele”, follow the street Via Calimala and turn left after about 200 mt in Via Vacchereccia, then turn right at the 1st street (where there are the Signs of “Buca Poldo” Restaurant). La Torre dei Salterelli B&B is in front of you at the N. 1
The third possibility is to enjoy a nice walk through the centre of Florence, it takes about 10 minutes walking from the railway station to the La Torre dei Salterelli B&B. Exit the station take Via de' Panzani and through Via de' Cerretani you will reach the Duomo square. From there take Via Roma and walk straight in Via Calimala and turn left after about 200 mt in Via Vacchereccia, then turn right at the 1st street (where there are the Signs of “Buca Poldo” Restaurant).

BY PLANE
To reach our B&B from Peretola airport it is possible to take a taxi (about 20-30 Euro) or the shuttle bus (about 5-8 Euro) which takes you from the Airport to the central railway station (Santa Maria Novella).
When you arrive at the S. M. Novella railway station you can choice to take a taxi (about 8-13 Euro) or to take the bus letter “ C2" (about Euro 1.20 per person).
